Post #1 Why I Read

I read because it gives me a chance to escape from reality. I can imagine what it would be like if I was that character or any character in the book. It helps me improve my imagination. I like to be able to think about what my life could have been like if I lived in that society. I also like to realte to the characters becasue it helps me feel more apart of the book. I read becasue it gives mea break from the stress of life and I can just "get away" for a while. Reading also helps me to deal with the stress of my life because when I am reading, I dont have to worry about everything so I can feel relaxed for a while. I also like to read because I like to imagine what my life could be like if I had superpowers or if I had a certain profession or job. I also read because there are certain situations that you can imagine that cant really happen in real life but it is fun to imagine what it would be like if they really could happen. I read for fun and to enjoy my time. It also helps pass the time when I am bored.
